Citroen has shown off its new DS Inside concept in more detail – providing a glimpse at the company’s plans for its ‘near premium’ models. It’s our first view inside the DS’s cabin and more details are emerging of Citroen’s strategic move upmarket in 2010. Although still officially a concept car, the DS Inside is virtually a carbon copy of the production DS3, the first of the new models named after the legendary 1950s déesse.
On Wednesday this week Renault inaugurated their global design studio in Mumbai, India. The Renault Design India Studio is the sixth edition to Renault's international network of satellite design centres following those in Barcelona, Paris, Kihueng (Korea), Sao Paolo and Bucharest (Romania) and is the third to be inaugurated this year. Speaking at the inauguration, Patrick le Quement, Senior Vice President Design of Renault, said: "We started Renault Design India as an observational unit.
We've never really paused to appreciate the subtle good looks of the Chevrolet Corvair, especially the end-of-the-line 1969 Corvair Monza coupe. But this particular car, which will be sold at the upcoming Mecum Houston auction on April 11, will make you stop and take stock. Even if you're Ralph Nader, you can't help but be impressed by its extreme originality: It has just 15 miles on the odometer.
